Excel Sheets

As part of my journey in investing, I have been introduced to many new resources and tools that can further help me to analyse the date presented in the stock market, one of them being ‘Excel Sheets’. This is of course a tool many are familiar with, I even used it a lot throughout my business classes in school but was re-introduced to it these past few weeks.

There are so many features that Excel sheets provides that enables me to visualise the data regarding my shares easily. For example, I recently discovered a feature called ‘Google Finance’ on sheets, which allows me to extract the prices of shares, as well as other data from google straight into a spreadsheet with only a few clicks. It was amazing seeing it in action, and I will most defiantly use it consistently to monitor the progress of companies I’m interested in.

When using excel sheets in school, I’d never imagine that I would utilise it for investing. I’m sure in the future I will come across many other valuable resources for the purpose of investing, but this time I will try maximise their potential, rather than limit then to a particular field.
