If there’s one thing I’ve learnt about how I learn, it’s that I learn best through visuals. Graphs, pictures, diagrams – anything that stimulates my eyes is great! It’s a way for me apply the content that I’ve already read, in a more simplified manner. Even now, in a means to help me track whether I’ve been keeping up with my goals or not, I have created a spreadsheet that maps out the days I’ve completed my required tasks or not. Being able to see my progress mapped out through series of coloured blocks (indicated I’ve accomplished my goal) is quite satisfying, and the perfectionist in me hates to see that streak broken with an uncoloured block. It’s a strategy I only started to implement a week ago, but I wish I did it earlier because I’m already starting to see improvements in not only my consistency, but also my motivation!
