I’m sure this is a year that we’d all like behind us, given the pandemic. Personally, this year was filled with missed opportunities and losses; I wasn’t able to work, make any new friends as I went into a new school year, and for the most part was stuck inside my house. On the other side, it gave me a chance to form closer relationships with my family and friends! I also picked up some new hobbies such as drawing, and whilst the social aspect of university was not the most enjoyable I did find it much more easier to understand the content through a screen surprisingly.

In the beginning of the year, this was the last thing I imagined 2020 to be like which is why I couldn’t be happier to welcome 2021. Though this year was not most peoples favourite year, it definitely was a memorable one.
