Progress

After a few weeks of not having practiced any crochet I finally picked up my hook and ball of yarn again. I didn’t want this to be another hobby that I forgot about within a months time, I wanted to improve and to do so I had to invest the time. Because it had been weeks since I crocheted I found it very difficult to keep up when following tutorials, which I was quite disappointed by considering the time I spent on it in the previous weeks. It only emphasised the importance of practice, and practice I did. I spent a little more time on it, and had to repeat and unravel my yarn more times than I can count but in the end I had a new creation. I had crocheted a jellyfish key chain and I was so incredibly proud of myself! It was by far my most favourite project to work on so far, and thats mostly because of how much I enjoyed the process. It was thrilling when my fingers moved so smoothly as I found myself recalling the previous skills I learnt, it was a wonderful feeling – a feeling I want to relive so I definitely see myself crocheting in the future and am eager to see the progress I am able to achieve onwards.
